Challenge Day 1 Complete!

First off, our weekly challenge is to log and share our food daily.

These pictures aren’t in order but you can see I had:

Breakfast:  Pancakes (leftover, only ate about half a pancake), sausage, Coffee
Snacks:  Diced Apples, Mixed Nuts, Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter
Lunch:  Spinach, Arugula, Chicken, Red Peppers, Tomatoes, Dressing
Snack:  Pint of Strawberries
Dinner:  Salmon and Sweet Potato Fries
Snack:  Raw Apple Cider

Screenshot_2012-11-05-20-06-56Today’s daily goal was to be as perfect as possible.  I have to say today was just the day I needed that accountability!  I have been feeling terrible all day and am still feeling off.  All I wanted was to stop somewhere and have someone give me fried food (after I paid for it, lol).  I resisted and was rewarded with an awesome dinner.  Rob went to the store and picked up everything I wanted!  He really is the best hubby ever.  All that is left is for me to drink 4 more ounces of water and do 10 minutes of exercise.  My exercise today is going to be simple: stretching, crunches, and maybe some push ups.  Nothing too crazy today!  I really just want to go to sleep though, its been a really long day…


Healthy Holidays Nov 6:  Fitness Challenge

Tomorrow for the Healthy Holidays Challenge, I want everyone to do a mini circuit!  Do 50 each of jumping jacks, push ups, and crunches.  You can do them however you want (modifications) and whenever you want (throughout the day in small sets or all at once).  This workout is courtesy of Rob.  Be glad I shot down his “run 10 miles”… 

Anyway, seeing as I can’t do jumping jacks, I will have to figure something else out but I promise to participate to my full ability!  (Rob says he will do it too but his shoulder is hurt so no push ups.  Haha what a broken couple we are right now!)

  1. You can do your jumping jacks like snow angels…not quite the same cardio workout as real ones, but trust me, not so easy when there isn’t snow and snowsuit involved! Still will give you a workout! Maybe do extra to make up for it?!? Rob should do your jumping jacks and you should do his push-ups! Kinda like a relay team!

      And Rob can’t do jumping jacks either because of the shoulder. He’s now assigned to do 50 jump squats
