Asking for Accountability!

I’ve not been as strict as I could be lately. While I am eating mostly super healthy foods, I also relax a lot on the weekends. I managed to stick to Insanity for almost every single workout but since then, my fitness has been rather wishy-washy. Of course, I was sick for about a week and a half but outside of that time, I was slacking quite a bit… So you know what that means, time for goals!

I don’t always do well with goals. I’m either into the weight loss thing or I’m not, and goals won’t make me more motivated. You know what really helps though? Accountability. I’m going to list some things I want to do every day for the rest of June as a kick-start plan and I would really love to have someone do it with me or check in on me. To help, I’m going to recap these every day in my blog also.

Even on the weekends.

And you all know I don’t blog on the weekends (maybe that is also why I slack off on the weekends more?). So here are my goals for the next few weeks. I have to figure out a way to remember I set these up also. Sometimes I just completely forget that I’ve made such commitments! Should I print them and display them everywhere?? Phone reminders? Emails? I’ll think of something! Here they are:

emoticon Track everything I eat.
emoticon Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
emoticon Limit my intake of non-Paleo foods (dairy & grains).
emoticon Work out at least 5 days a week.
emoticon Run at least 3 days a week.
emoticon Check in on my blog every day.

There are 20 days left in June including today, so its a little under 3 weeks. That is a very long challenge for me but it is worth doing to help me get back on track. At the end of June, my marathon training officially starts (although I should already be “in training”) and this challenge should line me up to be ready to tackle that very long 16 week challenge head on!

emoticon Who is with me? Is there anyone who would like to be an accountability partner?

    1. Just make sure that I don’t “forget” about my goals!! And you may get an email now and then telling you my workout of the day (so I can’t back out!!). I just emailed my friend Lauren that I am doing the same workout as her. Can’t slack off now!
