Baked Grapefruit

All you need is 1 Grapefruit and Toppings (cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, honey, chopped nuts, etc.)  If you are making this in a conventional oven (verses a toaster oven), preheat it to 350 degrees.

1.  Slice grapefruit in half evenly so the halves will stand flat.
2.  Place halves cut side up on an oven safe tray.  Make sure the tops are flat or you will lose the juices as it bakes.
3.  Sprinkle with your toppings.
4.  Place in toaster over (or conventional oven) for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
5.  To eat, spoon out grapefruit sections between skin.  Enjoy!

  1. That’s interesting and I’ve never thought about such a thing!

    I’m not meant to eat citrus (the lupus thing) but I sneak in a little lime or lemon now and then cos I love it! I love grapefruit, too. I like the bitter yellow kind with vodka:)

    That’s not a healthy choice, exactly…
