Bullpen Workout Details

I realized I forgot to tell you about my workout yesterday!  I told you about the gym but not what we did. I don’t remember exactly how many sets or reps for everything (lots of things were measured by time) but the basic run down:

  • 1.3 mile warm up run (it is supposed to be 2 miles but I am slow and had to cut it short)
  • 5 yard sprints with side shuffles
  • Cones, Ladders, and Hurdles circuit – going over, around, across, etc.
  • Bear crawls
  • Jump squats
  • Push-ups
  • Burpees
  • Toe Touches (on a tire)
  • 20 yard sprints
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Planks
  • Jumping Jacks
  • Sled Pushes
  • More sprints
  • Crunches

We did all those things in just about an hour.  Even my feet are sore today!  Everything was done at your own pace, sort of.  I mean, you do things with other people and as a group but there were times I needed a break and could take one.  Having the group there though, you still push harder than by yourself!  I can’t wait to go tomorrow!

That is it for today.  I need to finish getting ready for Christmas!  At least my cards are all done finally.  I love making them by hand but it sure is tiring and time consuming!  No two are the same! (Sorry, no picture. Spoilers!)

On my Wunderlist today:

  1. Finishing putting away clothes
  2. Wrap presents

It is a short list because “put away clothes” is a lot more complicated that it sounds.  It is going to be really hard to do today too because there is a Doctor Who marathon on ALL DAY (and the clothes are in the bedroom and the TV in the living room).  I know I can watch it on Netflix but its so much more fun when you randomly find it on TV!

What is your favorite type of workout?

I don’t have a favorite, I like everything!  For me, it is all about the people I am with.  Good company for a run (or alone works too).  A good instructor that has a training style I like makes one class better than another!
