Busy Times!

I haven’t really written since Tuesday!  What is with me?!   LoL.  Well, I have been really busy the last few days.  All my pictures are locked in my camera, so sorry none of those for today either.  Basically, I have a whole lot of homework to be done.  I have another take home midterm and 3 other homework assignments.  Its going to be a busy weekend!

The plans for the weekend are to relax with Rob, do homework, and go to Rugby.  We were going to go to the Renaissance Fair with friends but they can’t go.  I really wanted to go too but

  1. I have a ton of homework
  2. Its $30 a person admission (that’s $60 right off the bat!!)
  3. Its a 2 and a half hour drive one way

We have to drive over an hour for rugby tomorrow so I don’t really feel like being in the car again on Sunday.  I really really want to go but I guess the timing is bed.  Next year, I’m going to try to make it earlier, in like August or September!

Fitness & Health
Anyway!  My new plan this week is going great.  I ate a little too much one night but then was barely hungry the next.  That is how my body functions though!  I also got a short run in yesterday.  I just ran up and down my street.  I tried doing intervals but my calf started hurting (still sore from Sunday) and then I got a killer headache!  I called it quits and good thing too because I was just on time for school.  I would have been way late if I took any more time!  I went 1.08  miles according to my Gamin.  Burned about 120 calories.  Not bad!  Better than doing nothing.

I am also loving my FitBit!  Mostly, I love the data and graphs it gives me.  Hehe!  I am a little bummed that they don’t seem to give you a daily calorie differential.  I can figure it out myself but I was hoping for a handy little chart or something.  I might have to start using my old spreadsheet for tracking!  So for yesterday.
1640 eaten – 2215 burned = -575 burned
Not bad!  That is about a pound per week if I did that ever day.  It told me to eat even more for the day and I have it now set to 1lb per week so weird…  It does try to guess how many calories you will burn at the end of the day though.  Maybe that is why.  Either way, still love it!  I can just take the numbers and figure it out myself!

I got some good things to work on yesterday from you guys so thanks!  I added an RSS feed but apparently it only loads a partial preview of the blog in google reader so I am working on getting it to load the whole post.  When I fix this, you might have to resubscribe.  I will let you know!

Also, Rob has requested a page of his own.  LoL, we will see about that!  Maybe it would be fun?!  He could write about his own fitness habits (sitting around on couch) and nutrition (beer and fries).  Ah, men.

I am still trying to figure out all the templates and everything so  you might see the appearance change a lot!  Please bear with me.

    Have a fun weekend…weather seems to be nice and “fallish” for being outside at Rugby! Pack along a nice thermos of some Pumpkin Spice Coffee!!

    1. Yes that was one thing I was excited about! LoL! Its the little things… So I’m thinking about making the homepage a summary page with other tidbits and things. You would have to click on the blog you wanted to read. Does that sounds good or annoying? Or maybe I could have the full view of the newest blog with summaries of older ones at the bottom? I don’t know if I can do that. WordPress is awesome but its harder to use than blogspot… Maybe over winter break, I can work on it all day long! LoL!
