New Work Gym, Ultimate Convenience

Today was essentially Day 1 of my 90 day goals and I wasn’t about to skimp out. I joined my work gym! It is right in the basement level of my office building so I have no excuse to skip a workout.

There is a weight area to the left also.

It is a very small gym, since only tenants of the office building

90 Days to Thanksgiving

Where, oh where, has Angela been?  Around and busy.  What else can I say?  I wasn’t as Nicely Settled In as I claimed in my last post.  Just the next week, my commute turned into chaos and I realized half my clothing essentials were still packed!  But I am getting there slowly.  I am starting to get a feel for routine, and it is relieving

Starting Over Running Style

Now that school is out, I have plenty of time to get fit, right? But, like most people, I feel a little paralyzed without a plan. I was also feeling overwhelmed by the options to get fit. Do I use my workout DVDs? Do I just run a whole lot? Where do I start?

I ended up joining my old gym for a number of reasons and thought I would share my thoughts with you all. So here are my top things I look for when

A Little Bit of Everything

Hey everyone! Nothing special going on here. It is Tuesday, it is snowing, I have to work tonight. That’s about it. I just miss the old days of regular, every day blogs. I know I haven’t been posting them here lately so I thought I’d give you all a life update

Classes started on January 14th. I didn’t have much of

Snow & Meal Planning

Hello everyone! Finally a free day! This has been one hell of a winter “break”. First, it was chaos getting ready for Christmas. Then I had a paper to finish and got a horrible cold. I just spent the last couple of days visiting a friend.

I used to run with her all the time and then she left to move back near her

Plans for 2015

Happy New Year! The new year is kind of fun because everyone is excited to jump on the healthy band wagon. I like seeing people motivated to get in shape and eat right. It also makes it a lot easier for me to stay on track with my goals when everyone else wants to do the same thing. Minimal bad influences around!

Of course, lots
