The Loews Hotel Chicago

For 10 days on my business trip, I had the privilege of being able to stay at the Loews Hotel in Chicago’s Loop. Only a few blocks from Lake Michigan, shopping, restaurants, and work, it was the perfect place to stay for this trip!

Check-in didn’t go smoothly because of a problem with my reservation (not a normal issue so I wouldn’t hold it

Hello! Wow it has been a while since I’ve last blogged. As you probably know, I got a new job in a city half way across the country.

The company wanted me to do orientation in July instead of waiting until August so I agreed. What I didn’t realize is that they would want me to continue to train every single week thereafter. I’ve been

We ended up having breakfast at the Brass Pelican, 1119 Central Avenue, Benton, PA. It was a little local place on a quiet back road. The food was

Running in Nature

Yesterday was a day full of boring tasks:

I washed some dishes I did laundry I wrote a blog I hunted for jobs online I went for a run I finished reading my book

That’s pretty much it! I need more interesting days, I feel like I am boring myself to tears. I even read a part of a physics book yesterday for some mental

Body Composition Analysis with Jersey Shore Sports Medicine

Yesterday, I stopped by Dr. Brian Sokalsky’s office, Jersey Shore Sports Medicine in Ocean City, NJ, and we did a Body Composition Analysis using his SECA mBCA system.

Without going into the technical details, the system basically sends electrical pulses through your arms and legs and measures the impedance on the signal. It took about 5 minutes going through all of the prompts
