What I Ate 8/25/14

Yesterday was going so well!  I was right on track with calories, I felt good, I had a great dinner planned.  The end of the day didn’t work out as well as I’d hoped as something came up and we ended up with burritos for dinner.

Note: I only ate half of the bagel in the lower left photo.

All things considered

17 Weeks to Philly Half Marathon 2014

Last week didn’t go so well…

I don’t really have an explanation, just some various excuses.  I was busy but I could have made the time for exercise.  There’s no reason my calendar should look like that.  Moving on!

How will I change things this week?  First, I’m not working this week, but I am studying for my board exam which is in exactly

Ice Cream & Science

Yesterday, I talked about my training plans but I have not been exercising this week much at all. I have been using all my free time for packing and cleaning because I go home on Friday! I am really excited to be back home. It has been a great experience in Florida but I am really ready to be back in my own home again.

Weekend Musings

I blogged last week about my new Lunch Blox and so far, so good!

Spring 2014 Ready to Go

The semester has officially started!  Yes, I know it actually started almost 2 weeks ago but I kept flip flopping on which classes to take and here is my schedule:

My Wednesday morning class is only every other week so that makes it a little less hectic too.  You can see I have those 2 really long days that will be a little stressful.

Cat Distractions

Happy Friday! This week has been a bit of a blur. There was a lot of this:

Then I would go home and there would be a lot of this:

They were pestering me, even when I set my cat-distraction-trap called opening the bedroom door. We don’t let them in there so when we do, its like a treat.

Getting Ready for the Holidays

This weekend was pretty much spent getting ready for the holidays. Saturday, Rob and I decided last minute to go to the Grey Sharks rugby get-together (basically, all the alumni from the program). We had a good time there, and then headed home to relax together. It was a really nice day!

Sunday, my sister came over to help us clean and decorate a bit.

Finals Countdown

Hello strangers! Quick Week Recap:

Workouts: 1

I managed to hit the gym on Monday morning at the crack of dawn. I did my lifting workout again and found it quite boring. It also takes too long for the amount of time allotted for the gym in the morning with Rob. We ride together to save fuel and he has to be to work! So
