Easter Weekend Fun

This was yesterday’s blog but I was having internet issues.  Let’s try this again!  This weekend was of course Easter weekend and it was pretty good!  It was actually very relaxing which is just what I was hoping for.

So can you believe I didn’t take any pictures at Easter?  I used to always take photos but lately, I just haven’t felt the inspiration.  I did take 1 picture of my delicious cheese bread that I had.  My grandmother makes the most wonderful Polish bread that she makes with raisins or cheese and I look forward to it every year!  She even let me have my own loaf this year!  She said it freezes well so I plan on putting it away and having it as a treat now and then!

Rob and I did some yard-sale-ing this weekend too.  Actually, we were just on our way to breakfast when we saw a good one and stopped.  Rob got these kitchen plates for $5.  Some are chipped or broken so we looked on ebay and they go for about $9 a plate!!!  We don’t plan on selling them obviously but we’ll have to budget for any replacements!!

Finally, I had a little craft project!  I was worried it would take me forever to get around to it but I told Rob and he made sure it got done.  At the DC half marathon, I bought one of those metal signs for my race medals that said “Bling Junkie”.  I didn’t want to just hang it up, I wanted to make it more special.  I also wanted a place for my bibs on it so I got working!  It came out great!!!

So that’s it for this weekend.  Oh, my new FitBit came in too so I’ve been trying to remember to wear it.  Amazing what one week does for you daily habits.  Today, it’s back classes.  I still have 1 more take home exam to finish up this week and then hopefully I have a few days break.  My apartment at school really needs to be straightened up.  Then, it’s less than 1 month left in this semester!  Woohoo!
