Today was our usual breakfast spot, The Somers Point Cafe. We used to loooove going there when Lauren was our server! (Friend that I run with all the time). Well, she doesn’t work there anymore, but the food is still good so we still go, though its not nearly as awesome. But definitely top notch healthy food, not greasy at all (a usual problem with breakfast joints).
Mike is the owner and he is awesome too. He really runs a nice little place here. He is going to be open for dinner over the summer on a couple nights of the week. We’ve never had dinner there (or even lunch!). I was bad today and decided to get the creamed chipped beef. It is icky out today and something warm and creamy sounded like just the thing to warm me up inside! Rob got pancakes and they were delicious 🙂 We skipped on the coffee today because we knew we would go to Starbucks afterwards. Mine also came with toast and Rob got bacon. Our total bill came only to $13 and change! Not bad!

PS. They also have “DeLuca’s Pizza” there (Mike’s last name). You buy it uncooked and bake it at home. Its DELICIOUS! So if you live in the area or are renting a summer place in Ocean City, you could stop by the cafe and pick up a few pizzas for later. I was able to keep one for up to 2 days in the fridge (longest I tried). It only takes 15 minutes to bake! Yum!
