Good morning! Today starts my first day of work! I’m getting ready but thought i would pop in really quick to say hi. Can’t write much because my power is out and I’m blogging from my cell phone. We had those crazy storms over the weekend and a tree fell down the street. Only 2 houses are out so we’re low priority.
Since I signed up for the Primal Blueprint Meal Plan the other day, I figured why not stick with Mark Sisson’s advice and also use his fitness program. It is all laid out in his books, The Primal Blueprint and 21 Day Total Body Transformation, both excellent reads (and apparently in need of reviews on here!).
I got good news today: my background check has gone through its first round and I can start work on Monday! Woohoo! Sadly, my extended unpaid vacation is over but I’m actually really happy about that. While it might sound nice to have all this time at home, I get super board and don’t want to do anything. This weekend got pretty hectic! I didn’t manage to blog at the end of last week because there was just too much to do. I spent the majority of Thursday with my friend Callista and her adorable children. We went to the beach to play in the sand but it got really cold and windy all of the sudden so we had to leave.
Yesterday I was just a ball full of energy! After my walk to Target, I came home without much idea of what to do. I blogged and then decided to poke my head outside on the back porch. Good morning! This week has been well enough so far. This past weekend, Rob and I were pretty busy but no pictures. The big downside is that my allergies have kicked in. This week went by so quickly! Monday started off well with the gym but then I got incredibly sick after lunch. I think the stew I had went bad. Yuck. Good morning! Last week was pretty slow on the fitness front. I was taking it easy, not stressing or killing myself. I even skipped the gym all week. I actually did that because I needed to field phone calls and other important things but I didn’t make up those workouts either. It was a rest week and it felt good. Your body needs that sometimes!
