Thankful

Today’s challenge for Elf4Health is to list 20 things you are thankful for.  This is a tough one for me so I’m going to try to do each one with a single word.  Here we go!

Thanks

Phew that took me a while!  Now, on to my normal blogging routine…

Health & Fitness

SoDeliciousCoconutSo, eating has been a lot better.  I’ve pretty much back to normal, along with my food sensitivities.  Now, I just have to make sure I don’t go crazy eating everything in sight after not eating for those last few days there.  I’m also drinking my So Delicious Cultured Coconut Milk to help replace those gut bacteria!  It has 10 different probiotics which is awesome compared to some other probiotic drinks/products.  Today, I blended the strawberry one with a banana and spinach.  Drank it out of a wine glass to feel fancy!

As for workouts, they haven’t been happening.  Whenever my stomach is wonky, I use it as an excuse to “rest”.  I keep saying I need to get back into it but I let myself slide.  Today’s goal is to just keep active around the house.  Clean, do laundry, wash dishes, etc.  That is step 1.  Maybe if I finish all that, I will do some fun fitness like Zumba or just play on the Kinect.  I must get off my butt!  Speaking of which, its time for me to get off the computer.  Have a great Thursday everyone!

  1. Sorry you’re feeling poorly! If it’s intestinal, that should come back soon. I take 1T chia (whole) in my breakfast daily. It helps regulate (faster or slower, whatever you need).

I’m still not recovered from my month-long foray into tomatoes, eggplant, garlic, citrus and all other things lupus-folk are warned off! Then again, it could’ve been a coincidence (rly, auto-immune is WEIRD and does what it likes). I’m not slimming down BUT at least I’m avoiding foods that my body can’t handle!

I’ll be happy when this stinking flare is over. Grr.
