Tips For Healthy Eating

Tuesday’s Challenge for Healthy Holidays was to give a tip for making Healthy Eating easier in daily life.  Here are all the answers from my fabulous ladies!

Angela “My tip is to drink water before deciding to have a snack. Sometimes you are just thirsty. If then you decide you are still hungry, you’ve got an extra glass of water in for the day already!”

Donna “I always eat a good breakfast – it sets the tone for the day and helps me stay on track.”

CarolynKeep veggies cut and cleaned on hand so that you can grab them and munch on them when you come home tired and starving.”

Barbara “I start my day with 16 oz of water, even before breakfast. Another tip I use is to always have a healthy snack planned so that I don’t roam the aisles or cupboards looking for something to snack on. Staying focused really helps me eat healthier.”

Jayne “I always try to eat a good breakfast. At least during the work week. It sets the tone for my eating the rest of the day, for the most part.”

Kama “Always have my big water jug with me, and lots of “finger” veggies to munch on.”

AmyPack a healthy lunch for work and also some healthy snacks for my long commute home, so I don’t get tempted to stop somewhere and pick something up!”

Samantha “Ask yourself if you are really hungry or if you are just bored. If you are bored, then find something to do. This usually works for me.”

Michele “Healthy tip (I actually have 2)…. 1. Make your own food this way you can account for everything in it including added salt, sugar, and fat. 2. Have an accountability partner. Someone that you can be totally honest with and can confess you slip ups to and eill get you back on the right track, and who will also cheer for you when you’re doing great.”
