Friday, I just had to work but there was a catch – Rob was riding up to Philadelphia with me! So I knew I would be going out later…
9:00 AM Cheddar cheese omelet with zucchini and tomatoes. Coffee with cream and coconut sugar.
I had a morning meeting and worked through lunch. Before getting on the train, Rob and I ran out for lunch at our favorite place – Chido Burrito!
1:30 PM Fish Rice Bowl with chips and salsa
3:00 PM Ice caramel latte lite from Dunkin Donuts (for the train ride!)
9:00 PM After work, I was starved so we got burgers and beers (2 for me) at a local bar. I forgot a picture
11:00 PM Another beer at another bar. Then Capo Giro just before midnight. The most amazing gelato ever.
Honestly, I didn’t track all my calories. I assume I was above 2000 so it isn’t a great day. It is also obviously a lot of carbs. On the bright side, I figured out that I like the fish salad from Chido Burrito better than the rice bowl. I like the crispy lettuce over the mushy rice. It is just a bonus that it is healthier! So, from today, it seems I do okay with food as long as I don’t leave the house. If only I could just stay home all the time. I would be so thin and fit! I also didn’t snack at all today. That is what I prefer – no snacking, just bigger meals. If I can just figure this out with healthy foods!
This weekends plans are lots of homework, errands, and going to the Renaissance Faire. I am going to stock my fridge for next week’s food challenge!
How do you like the coconut sugar with your coffee? And where did u get that? I want to start baking with it
I think it tastes really good in my coffee! I don’t know if it is any healthier than regular sugar though? I got at BJ’s Wholesale in a giant container. You might check vitacost.com too. They have a ton of hard to get stuff!
