Busy Bee

It looks like its going to be a busy couple of days at school this week.  I only have classes today and Thursday but I also have 2 meetings to attend and we got homework today.  It won’t be hard but I want to get it done by Thursday so I don’t have to worry about it over the weekend.  On the bright side, my classes for next Monday were moved to Tuesday so that means a 4 day weekend again!  Woohoo!

Health news, I am still sick.  Just a nasal drip and a minor cough.  It seems to be moving into my chest though and that isn’t good.  I plan on doing some lower body moves today and maybe a tad bit of cardio to see how it goes but I am always afraid of making myself worse.  On the schedule is 13 miles this weekend and I’m at the point where I have to run them or I won’t be ready for the marathon!  Speaking of which, we booked out hotel.  That means its really real!  I’m really going to run a marathon in March!

No other news for today.  Thought I would post my planned workouts to be accountable (health pending with this cold)

Tuesday – Strength training, Light Cardio
Wednesday – Light walk/jog
Thursday – Yoga, HIIT
Friday – rest
Saturday – 13 Miles

Off to my next class!

  1. I’m so sorry to hear that you’re sick. =( I’m sure the cold weather there isn’t helping much (everyone in my husband’s family in Seattle is sick right now too!). Even though I’m not commenting as much any more, I’ve still been keeping up with your adventures, and I have to say how amazed I am by you for doing the marathon in March!!! Rock on, girl!!!

  2. Oh, honey. I got something mid-December that started like that, turned into full-blown sinus infection, then went to my chest. Since you’re wanting to be healthy for your marathon, PLEASE stay on top of this and go see a doctor if it’s over 10 days. Hugs!
