Drink Up!

DublinThis weekend was pretty crazy hectic.  I was busy the whole time!  And have no pictures to show for it.  In my defense, they are locked in my other camera in NJ.  I feel like I got some things done at least this weekend but the work hasn’t stopped yet!  I have some take-home exams to hand in this week and then its off to Ireland for 4 days on Wednesday!

InsanityIn health and fitness news, my eating has yet to get on track.  I did run/walk with Lauren on Saturday (ankle was hurting her so we took it easy) but nothing yesterday because I was loaded down with work.  Today, even though I still have lots of work, I’m going to try to squeeze in the Insanity Fitness Test!  My hubs and I bought it a few months back and plan on doing it together.  I figure since my running has been lacking, something is better than nothing, even with the half marathon coming up.

One more thing, Lauren showed me a new app on her phone that I just loved!  It is to help you drink more water throughout the day and is simply called “Drinking Water”.  You set your goal in number of glasses and as you drink your water, you click on the glass to fill it.  If you haven’t filled any gasses in a while, the app will alert you and put an icon in your toolbar to remind you!  Let me tell you, I have been MUCH better at getting my water in the last couple of days!

Mine shows what time you “filled the glass” too underneath each glass image.  The chart on the right is how many glasses you had over time.  Also, you can set it to not alert you at certain times of day (mine is between 10PM and 8AM).  Pretty neat!  Half the reason I don’t get enough water is because I forget to drink it.  Well, this app really helped that problem!  Chug Chug!
