Quick Upper Body Workout

I am a cranky pants today!  I had intended on finishing and posting a review today but I don’t think it would come out very nice so I’m going to defer that until tomorrow.  We’ll keep it simple today with a workout recap.

QuickUpperBodyWorkout

I wasn’t really feeling a long draw out lifting workout yesterday.  I actually wasn’t feeling any workout at all but I knew I had no excuse but laziness so I got to it.  I made my upper body workout into a quick speed workout so I could get done as quickly as possible.  Including a short warm up and stretching, this workout took me less than 20 minutes.  Perfect!  I only burned about 120 calories but the purpose was strength and not calories/cardio.  I used 10 pound dumbbells and could have used heavier for the bench press (but the overhead press was really tough).

As for the stomach, it was still wonky so I actually went and bought some oatmeal.  If you follow regularly, you know I try to stick to mostly Paleo.  Well, right now all fresh foods seem to hurt but rice and oatmeal are ok (as long as they are cooked to mush).  Eating oatmeal over nothing or something that causes pain sounds good to me!  The downside is they cause me to be cranky and tired (hence the mood today).  Hopefully I will be back to normal by the weekend.

Now, I’m off to get some work done.  I have lots of errands and packing to do before this weekend.  Only a few more days left at school!
