Relaxing Day

Just a couple random things going on tonight!  Its a nice relaxing night with Rob (and I’m on the computer, hehe).  Anyway!  This is just going to be a picture blog 🙂

Rob’s package came in the mail!  He went and ordered it and is so excited to get started (after he is all healed from Rugby)

I am going to use the strength DVDs on my cross training days I think.  Can’t wait to try it!

Also, good news for the Chicken Scoop!  The little ones are laying eggs.  The chickens we incubated and raised back in April have finally started laying!  They are cute little tiny eggs 🙂

I also had an excellent day!  Nothing too special about work or anything but I had lunch with my sister at the Cheese Board which is always lovely.  She got the cream of carrot soup (OMG it was AMAZING!) and I got some crazy ham sandwich with cheddar, apples, and pumpkin spread.  It was eh.  Nothing special.  I also tried some of their free samples.  The brie with mushrooms with roasted garlic and onion jam on top was to die for!  Maybe next time I have a party.  It was nice to chat and have a nice lunch with her!

I did buy a couple jars of sweet things.  I know, not the best thing in the world but my sister suggested putting a scoop in my coffee instead of going to Starbucks for lattes (like the pumpkin latte I made before).  Brilliant!  So I got these two and I can’t wait to try them, especially the chocolate one!

I also noticed on my way into the restaurant that there is a new yoga studio right next door!  It looked really nice (Linwood is a nice neighborhood) and is only about $15 a class.  I think that is a decent price!  Maybe it can be an occasional treat!  Perhaps I can find friends to join me (ahem, Lauren?).  Or it could be a nice Christmas gift for someone (hint)!

This weekend is going to be very busy already.  Lauren had signed up for a 5K this weekend but it looks like no one else signed up with her.  I know she loves it when her friends come and its supposed to be freezing and raining tomorrow so I said I would go too (why not?).  She also said that barely anyone signed up (so hey, maybe we can both get prizes!).  Either way, should be fun.  I have to remember to bring some dry clothes for after the race though!

Then its off to rugby for the day and the rest of the weekend will spent with this:

Looks like fun huh?  I have a take-home exam due Monday in addition to homework for the other classes.  I am sure I will make time to blog so look out for it on Sunday.  Now, it’s time to upload the last 2 weeks of rugby photos to their website and then spend some relaxing time with Rob.  Not being the best for dinner tonight.  We didn’t have anything out to cook and pizza sounded good (weakness).  Luckily this place isn’t too greasy and cheap!  So anyway, to end, photos of the kitties and our new bird feeder 🙂

  1. Stonewall Kitchen is right here in southern Maine!! AWESOME to see you’re enjoying their products. They are amazing.

I had to laugh – we have the same Saranac multi-pack and I enjoyed Vanilla Stout a couple nights ago. I was afraid it might be too sweet, but no way – just a great stout.

    CONGRATS!!!!! on the chickens!!!!!!!

I am so psyched for you — cannot wait until ours start laying!!
