Happy October!!
Did you know October is my favorite month? I love the weather, the fashion, the running, the food, everything! Rob and I even got married in October! (Five years this year if you were wondering.) So you can imagine my disappointment at seeing that it is supposed to be 80 degrees today. I won’t let that stop my love for Fall though.
This month, I decided not to make goals but to have another theme.
Fake it til you make it.
Basically, I decided I would “do health”, even when I didn’t feel like it (especially when I didn’t feel like it). I made a graph (of course) to keep track of my progress and instead of aiming for a specific number, I’m just going to do my best and keep a log.
Look at the pumpkins grow! Lol.
So that’s the big plan. I’ve been trying the little-bit-at-a-time but that’s doesn’t work right now so I’m jumping in feet first! I’m not going to give myself a hard time for a bad day but I’ll get right back on track again the next minute!
And since I have zero time to blog lately, expect some typical health blogger posts like “What I Ate Wednesday” and weekly exercise recaps. This blog was originally created to keep me accountable so let’s use it that way!
What is your favorite month?
I think my favorite month is November. I love that it is usually cold, but not quite winter, and my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Not for the food, but for what it is really about – friends, family and being thankful… Keep doing what you are doing – the best you can do. Everyday. Some days will be better, than others, it’s the best that day that matters!
