Photo Challenge Day 16

Day 16 – A picture of someone who inspires you

This photo blog thing really is tough.  I’m not going to be polite and ask permission like my spark friend did who used me (::squeels with delight/humility::) for Day 16.  I’m just going to post them here!  And if you want me to take it down, I will.  Just ask.  As you can probably guess, these are mostly fitness related inspirations!  Really, all of my spark friends inspire me in some way and I’m afraid of offending anyone so I just picked the two that I thought of first (because if I thought about it for more than 2 seconds, this blog would have at least 2 dozen people listed!)

First up, Amy!  She has been my Spark Friend (on Sparkpeople.com) practically since the beginning.  She was one of the first people I really connected with.  I love following her blogs and progress and hearing what she has to say.  I look up to her so much and she has come such a long way.  I’m totally impressed by her and definitely inspired!

Second is a bit of a newer Spark Friend.  Actually not really new.  I followed her but we never really interacted much.  Then I joined Amy’s team on SP called Fabulous Fitness and Carolyn was the co-team leader.  I started commenting on her pages more and interacting with her on the team.  I always admired her and have come to look up to her even more since “getting to know” her better.  She always has sincere wonderful advice and takes the time to help people.  She is also an inspiration!

Now for someone I know in real life who is an inspiration all around with fitness, career, motivation, whatever!  My friend Ida that I went to college with is on the National Woman’s Rugby Team, she plays in the LFL (Lingerie Football League!), she won the High Heel-a-thon last year and she’s getting her PhD in Physics (we were both physics majors.  I know, total dorks).  She has a drive that I cannot even think of matching.  What she wants to do, she just goes after it without thinking.  There are no obstacles in her life.  She might get discouraged or tired sometimes but I’ve never seen her give up!  Which is why she inspires me so much 🙂
