Friday Already?

Hello Everyone!  This week has been a rough one for me.  I’ve been super busy with school so I haven’t had time as much for the challenge.  I have been checking in on the facebook team though since I can do it from my phone.  Anyway, here’s a rundown for the week so far:

  1. Water is iffy.  I’m not tracking, but I’m trying so that’s good.
  2. Food has been out of my control. Lots of eating out. I tried to load up on veggies but I did indulge in a few treats this week.  I tried to keep it to one treat a day (except conference day).
  3. Exercise has been nonexistent. I’ve been trying to get my ankle used to just walking so an actual workout sounds scary.  Speaking of which, the ankle is doing well.  The muscles are healing quickly but are tired and sore by the end of the night!
Challenge Rundown:
  • Monday: Water: Check!
  • Tuesday: Clean Eats: Er, I think Check? (ate out)
  • Wednesday: Mini Circuit: Too busy and scared for the ankle. Put off.
  • Thursday: Posture: Check!

Today’s plan is to attempt my circuit, do 10 minutes of “something new”, and 20 minutes of yoga. Actually, I might save “something new” for tomorrow but I hate changing days.  I am still babying my ankle because I want to start back up with “Real” workouts on Monday.  I want it in tip top shape by then!

I’m also drinking water like crazy today and ate a homemade breakfast and lunch.  I need a second lunch which will probably be bought.  I have no idea what will be for dinner yet as I’ll be driving home to NJ today.

As far as the weekend goes, no big plans.  I have a ton of work to do and Rob also have some things that need to be taken care of.  Maybe we’ll go grocery shopping tonight and make some sort of meal plan.  That is why we do so poorly, because we don’t plan the weekends.  Also, Rob and I eat very differently so it makes cooking for 2 tough sometimes! It was easier when I lived at home all week.

Anyway, I must be off!  Don’t forgot about today’s challenge: Try a new workout.  Let me know what you tried today and how you liked it!!
