Moving Time

Good news!!!  I got an apartment!  It really is nothing special.  I saw a different apartment of the same model and I approve of it.  It is in a development with a pool and fitness room so that is awesome.  It is only like a mile from campus too!  It would be tricky to walk due to lack of sidewalks but I can figure something out.  Also, if I get a campus gym membership, I could jog there, workout, then jog home!

Best part is that it is 2 bedrooms!  There was only a $12 difference in rent between the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom!  HA!  And this way too, I will be sandwiched above and below by 2 other apartments (1 bedrooms are on the top floor) so that will help keep my heating bill down.  I am pretty excited to cut out this daily ride but I still won’t be able to for a few weeks.  Soon though!  I can move in on November 19th.  Its time for another Ikea trip!  Here are some pictures from the website:

 

Just a basic apartment development!  I also talked to some classmates and it sounds like I got a really awesome deal on the rent so that is good.  I’ve actually got the most space for about the same amount of rent.  Woohoo!  Definitely enough room for company on the weekends if Rob comes down!

So in other news, I felt like I didn’t get a thing done yesterday!  I mean, I did go see this apartment but then I got home an hour later than normal.   I did get the kitties prepped for their surgeries today (no food after 8 so I fed them a big dinner of soft food while I hid the hard food).  Rob is taking them in today.  Its going to be a noisy car ride!  Usually I comfort them when we drive the 3 miles to the vet.  This will be a much longer ride to a local Humane Society.  Anyway!  I also paid bills but that was really it!  I am just so lazy.  LoL.

Today is work, visit my cousin, Skype into class, pick up kitties (Rob might be doing that one alone), comfort kitties, figure out weekend plans.  We are still undecided about going away.  Its the only free weekend we have for a while but it is also going to be crazy busy where we wanted to go (they are doing free admission for Veteran’s Day).  We’ll see!

Health and Fitness
Obviously, I did not get a run in last night.  Too much to do!  Today is iffy also.  I did track all my food yesterday.  I was craving carbs like woah.  And I ate them.  And today I woke up starving.  Just goes to show that my high-er protein diet works for me (its not low carb!!).  I need to write up my “pages” on here about nutrition and fitness and stuff.  I started to yesterday but it got deleted!  Anyway, my calorie differential was -276 so that is good!  I actually find that I missed tracking.  I like seeing the numbers!  You guys know how much I love my charts and graphs!!!
