This week went by like a whirlwind! I was sooo stressed out this week, I just felt completely overwhelmed with everything. I still am but have better concentration to handle it all today. Anyway, I figured I would just share some fun things. Since I was so busy, Rob came here this weekend instead of me going home. Since Valentine’s Day is on Tuesday, I decided to make him some treats. I just started reading a new blog and she posted a recipe for Bacon Chocolate Hearts. I just had to try it and they came out amazing!
Friday, I had homework to do so we hit the Dover Newsstand to use internet and drink coffee. Then we walked around downtown again so I could show Rob all the great architecture. There was this great old church and cemetery. Really old headstones and such. For some reason, I find cemeteries really cool.
We both felt pretty crappy though and tired so we called it a day. We did stop at a gift shop downtown. It was Vera Bradley heaven
On the way home, we stopped at the mall for lunch and to get some DVDs to watch since I don’t have cable. It was buy 2 get 1 for $1 on all used items (DVDs and CDs). We got what we wanted (Inglorious Bastards) used and found Army of Darkness used too! What a classic!
I also found a New Found Glory CD that I didn’t have used and guess what, there were 2 CDs in the case, both NFG!!! I was SO EXCITED. So for $1, I got 2 awesome CDs by my favorite band! Woohoo!
Rob and I have been spending all day today at a local coffee place (blog to come later!) and I am so caffeinated right now! They give you internet according to what you buy so when we ran out of time, we got a second round of lattes. I forgot to ask for decaf! Anyway, we have good plans for the rest of the day and tomorrow is study study study!
I hope this makes up for the lack of blog yesterday but I didn’t have much about health and fitness to talk about. I have been really lacking exercise-motivation lately and my eating has been terrible this weekend. I promise to do better this week! Starting tomorrow! (its snowing so no way I’m running today!). Enjoy your weekend!!
Very glad to hear that after such a long week, the Bacon Chocolate Hearts were able to put a smile on your face! I love the pictures in your post. I also find imagery of old cemeteries beautiful. Great job 🙂
Im so sorry you have been overwhelmed. Feel free to send me an email, text, you name it Im here for you!
