Good morning! This morning started off pretty well for me. I did sleep in a little too long. I really need to set an alarm clock even though I don’t have to be anywhere. I am thinking about getting one of those alarm clocks that slowly lights up to wake you up. What do you think of those? I really hate waking up to noise.
Fitness
I did it! I followed my training plan! LoL, I know, such excitement for me for something I should be doing anyway. But its been hard to be motivated lately so its back to my old mantra
It’s Not An Option
I wrote a blog a while back on why this slogan works for me. Basically, you just have to do it. There is no choice. The only choice is to be healthy! I really need to get this on a bracelet or something to wear around and keep me in check! But seriously, I am ready to get back into the swing of things full force! So this morning, I got up, moaned about the cold, and put on my running gear.
It was painful, mostly due to the fact that I know I was dehydrated since I didn’t drink nearly enough water the last few days. Working on that today! It was also due to crappy eating. Sugar does not fuel a body. But another 3 miles under my belt!
Nutrition
I’m doing food blogs again! I don’t know if I am going to concentrate on them in my regular blogs or just throw a collage at the bottom of my normal post or do a completely separate blog, but you will be seeing everything I eat today at some point. So far so good! It really keeps you accountable when you know lots people will know if you did good or not! And really, after a few days of really crappy eating, I’m craving some nice healthy foods. My yogurt tastes amazing right now! Actually, it always does, but I was really craving it instead of cookies or something.
School
Almost forgot! My last final was yesterday! I think I did ok and I did well in the rest of the class so that should good. I wasn’t worried at all about my other classes. So the semester is officially over! Now, just have to find a research adviser. Eek!
So there are only 18 days left in 2011! What are you going to do to end it right?!
