8 Hours in Chicago

This past week has been a bit of a whirlwind. I had a job interview on Wednesday in Chicago! I had spoken with the company a few times over the phone and they decided to fly me out to meet in person. It was an early day, with a 5:45 AM flight at an airport over an hour from my house.

I accidentally parked

Finally, the last of my camping posts! It was quite the long weekend. We had intended to stay to Sunday but decided to add an extra day so we could hike the Falls Trail again!

We got up super early and ate some granola bars and protein shakes so we could save time. We were on the trail by 7AM! Because it

Camping Trip to Ricketts Glen: Saturday

Saturday morning, we woke up again bright and early from going to bed so early. It was still raining and gloomy out when we got up so we decided to head out and explore a little bit.

Being otherwise boring celebrators, we didn’t have anything special planned. All we knew is that we had to use our last tickets to the Renaissance Faire this Saturday because it is the last weekend it would be

Week in Pictures 10/6/14

Happy October!!! So I’m a little late. It has been a hectic week…

Always spending time at school and now I shadow at the clinic 2 days per week. I had to go up to campus an extra day this week so that kind of stunk. 4 hours of commuting kills me!

At least the train station is pretty

I caught up on my

Week in Pictures 8-12-2014

Monday was my board exam and to celebrate/cheer me up, we went to the boardwalk again.

Tuesday was National Night Out so we rode our bikes to the park to check things out!  9.2 mile bike ride

Wednesday was pretty uneventful but we picked some veggies from the garden for dinner.

I almost forgot!

Ice Cream & Science

Yesterday, I talked about my training plans but I have not been exercising this week much at all. I have been using all my free time for packing and cleaning because I go home on Friday! I am really excited to be back home. It has been a great experience in Florida but I am really ready to be back in my own home again.
