Exercise is Contagious

Happy Tuesday!  I was so busy yesterday, I just never got a chance to sit down to the computer.  I feel so out of touch!!  It was such a busy weekend in general but here is just my workout schedule from the last few days:

Friday – Yoga, Zumba
Saturday – Rest
Sunday – Interval Running, Lifting, Abs
Monday – Hip Hop Class, Turbo Legs & Abs
Tuesday – 6AM Body Pump

Tired just looking at that!  Needless to say, my abs are pretty beat today and I plan on taking it easy on them tomorrow!  Wednesday is a run day and I want to do my 2 mile home route but this heat is really not a good thing right now.  Should I play it safe and torture myself with the dreadmill?

Some other news is that my sister joined the gym too yesterday!  It’s been years since she’s had a regular fitness routine so she’ll start out slow but joined me for Body Pump this morning.  She just did what she could and modified.  Just getting to the gym is the hardest part really!  I am just excited to have here there with me.

On top of that, we found out one of Rob’s rugby friends goes to one of our gyms too and he’s looking into getting a membership so he can start lifting again.  I’m also trying to see how much it would be for one of my friends to join just one of the locations, if it would be feasible for her (she works for a company that has its own gym and gives employees a great rate).  So it looks like I have plenty of people to meet up with at the gym already!

So the schedule this week is already jam packed.  I have a ton of work to do, stuff to do for my new school that has to be done ASAP.  I also have a project that needs to be done by tomorrow, the in-law’s coming over for dinner, gym classes to attend, and reading to do!  Which means I really need to get off this computer now!  I want to organize my work area before I get started and then I’m diving in.  It’s going to be a long day today!

What is your favorite gym class?

I don’t think I have a favorite.  My problem is that I want to go to them all!  Tomorrow there is a 7:30AM 30-minute spin class that I might attend (and then do my run).  But I also want to try a class called Piyo which is yoga and pilates set to music.  And of course, I always love me a dance class like Zumba or Hip Hop!

  1. You go, girl! You are doing amazing…and having others to join you is key! Glad you can go with your sister…that must be nice for both of you. I ran this morning at 5am and it was already hot! In fact, it was the low for the day at a nice sticky and humid 76! HA! Keep up the great work!

  2. you are definitely kicking booty! (im tired looking at it too haha) We have piyo at our gym, I definitely like it, but sometimes I get lost because it is pretty fast haha
